ALPHA READERS:
CLOSED FOR NOW, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO APPLIED!
Alpha readers will read an early, unpolished draft of Book 2 with the goal of helping shape the story’s structure, pacing, and character arcs before it moves into later editing stages. They are not looking for typos, grammar, or sentence-level polish—they are focusing on the bones of the story.
What will you be doing as an Alpha Reader?
Big-Picture Story Elements Opening hook – Does the first chapter pull them in?
Pacing – Are there slow or rushed sections?
Plot clarity – Are they ever confused about what’s happening or why?
Conflict & stakes – Do the problems feel urgent and important?
Character arcs – Are characters’ motivations, actions, and growth believable?
Worldbuilding – Is the setting clear and immersive without info dumps?
Emotional impact – Do the big scenes land the way they should?

BETA READERS
CLOSED FOR NOW, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO APPLIED!
Are you excited to read my next book before it’s published—and give honest feedback that helps me fine-tune the story?
I’m looking for dedicated beta readers to read a more polished draft of Book 2 in the Echoes of the Unmoored series and share their thoughts on pacing, clarity, and emotional impact. This is not the final version, but it will be much closer to publication-ready than what alpha readers see. Your role is to be a “test audience” — reading as a 'fan', but also helping me spot anything that might trip up or disconnect readers.
What will you be doing as a Beta?
Read the draft before publication. Give feedback on pacing, clarity, character likability, worldbuilding, and emotional beats.
Flag any scenes that feel slow, confusing, or inconsistent.

Confidentiality: Agree not to share or distribute any part of the draft.
What you'll receive as a Beta:
A signed copy of Volume 2 upon release
