ALPHA READING

A professional early-reader check for writers who don’t want to burden friends, get lost in critique groups, or waste time rewriting the wrong thing.

An alpha reader is a professional early-stage reader who looks at your draft before heavy edits or polishing.

Alpha reading focuses on structure, clarity, pacing, and story logic. This helps you avoid wasting months revising the wrong thing or relying on friends who feel awkward being honest or who promise to read but never have the time. Think of it as a gut-check and decision point before you commit to major changes.

What This Service Does Not Include

This service does not include line editing, grammar correction, sentence rewrites, or coaching. Alpha reading is about evaluating the story as a reader, not polishing the writing.

In addition to addressing any specific questions you have as the author, you will receive a Reader Experience and Feedback Report.
